How do you like your Greyhound? Kind of slow with it's feet in the air, or as a sleek predator chasing a white lure?

Many questions come up when discussing the closing of this important part of Phoenix history. What will we miss about Greyhound racing in Phoenix, or is this a good thing? Kind of bittersweet from my seat. I not only worked at the Phoenix track accepting pari-mutual betting tickets but spent time with the dogs by knowing several trainers and owners. To take this back to the present, I've gone full cycle now. I own three Greyhounds and I am the vice-president of a local greyhound adoption group. There are definitely some mixed emotions floating around...
